Sacramento, CA – [9/30/2024] – This past Saturday, 9/28/24, volunteers from the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® (S.A.R.) joined forces with REALTOR® Champion Stephen Walton to canvas District 2 in Sacramento. The effort, aimed at connecting with local residents and ensuring awareness of Walton’s candidacy, underscored the importance of supporting real estate-friendly candidates in local elections.
Stephen Walton, a dedicated REALTOR® Champion, led the team as they walked door-to-door, engaging with Sacramento residents, listening to their concerns, and offering insight into Walton’s vision for the district. This initiative is part of S.A.R.’s commitment to advocating for policies and leaders that support homeownership, fair housing, and a healthy real estate market in Sacramento.
“Our volunteers play a crucial role in helping to get real estate-friendly candidates like Stephen Walton into office,” said Jessica Coates, CEO of S.A.R. “We were out there on Saturday morning knocking on doors, ensuring the community knows who Stephen Walton is and what he stands for. His policies and vision will help protect homeownership, drive fair housing initiatives, and support a vibrant real estate market.”
The canvassing event reflects S.A.R.’s broader efforts to promote civic engagement and advocate for policies that positively impact Sacramento’s real estate market. By mobilizing volunteers to support REALTOR® Champions like Walton, S.A.R. seeks to influence local elections and ensure that the voice of the real estate industry is heard in city hall.
