Sacramento Association of REALTORS® Makes History with First Indian-Origin President

Sacramento, CA – The Sacramento Association of REALTORS® (SAR) celebrated a historic milestone at its annual Installation Dinner, held on Friday, January 17th at the Mirage Banquet Hall in Sacramento. For the first time in the organization’s 107-year history, SAR has elected an Indian-origin president, Ujjal Singh “Breeze”, to lead its esteemed board of directors in 2025.

Mr. Singh’s election represents a significant step forward in SAR’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and representation within the real estate industry. His presidency is a testament to the evolving face of leadership in Sacramento and highlights the organization’s dedication to fostering an environment where all professionals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

“It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the President of SAR in 2025,” said Singh during his inaugural speech. “This organization has always stood as a beacon of professionalism and community service, and I am committed to building on that legacy while fostering a culture of diversity and progress.”

The Installation Dinner brought together REALTORS®, community leaders, and industry partners for an evening of celebration and camaraderie. The event also honored the outgoing 2024 President, Samantha Tov for their leadership and dedication, and welcomed the incoming board members who will serve alongside Singh in 2025.

Singh’s presidency marks a momentous occasion in SAR’s history. As the first Indian-origin president, he embodies the association’s vision for a future where leadership reflects the rich diversity of the Sacramento community. His unique perspective and commitment to inclusivity will play a vital role in shaping SAR’s ongoing initiatives and priorities.

In addition to his role as SAR’s President, Singh serves as an Advisory Board Member of SAR’s Young Professional Network, where he has been an advocate for supporting and mentoring the next generation of REALTORS®. His dedication to ethical practices, collaboration, and community engagement has earned him widespread respect within the industry.
