Sacramento, CA (January 2023) – Local REALTOR® Cherie Hunt was sworn in as the 106th President of the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®. A 30+ year veteran of the industry, Cherie has been a Member of the Association for over 16 years.
Over 200 friends, family, colleagues, and elected officials attended the lunchtime event at the newly renovated Mack Powell Event Center. Cherie’s theme for 2023 is “Our Clear Path Forward,” a nod to the growth, advancement, and diversity of the Association with focus on building new leadership and DEI initiatives within the 8,500+ member strong Association.
“I’m proud to be a part of this exciting time of growth and development for SAR,” says Hunt. “I’m surrounded by great leaders who care deeply about their Association, their industry, and their fellow REALTORS® and I look forward to the positive changes we can bring to both the industry and the community.” Hunt’s one-year term will see her representing SAR at both state and federal levels as a Member of both the California and National Associations.
In addition to Hunt, the SAR Board of Directors and Executive Leadership was also sworn in at the event.
