At the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®, we know that leadership doesn’t just happen in classrooms. It’s built through hands-on experiences and real world exposure to the issues that shape our industry. That’s why our Leadership Academy recently took a special tour of the California State Capitol building, and it was nothing short of inspiring.
From the moment our group stood on the Capitol steps, there was a buzz of energy. This wasn’t just a photo op. It was a chance to walk the halls where major decisions are made, decisions that directly impact REALTORS®, homeowners, and the communities we serve.
For our Leadership Academy members, this wasn’t just a field trip. It was a powerful reminder that REALTORS® have a voice in the legislative process. Whether it’s through local advocacy or state level engagement, we’re not just selling homes. We’re helping shape the future of housing, fairness, and opportunity in our region.
To everyone who took part in this experience, thank you. Your curiosity, your commitment, and your presence at the Capitol are proof that the next generation of leaders in real estate is ready to make a difference.
