Women Build 2025

At the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®, we recently had the privilege of participating in Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento’s Women Build 2025 event, presented by U.S. Bank. Despite facing wind and rain, our team came together to install side paneling, embodying resilience and community spirit.

Women Build, established in 1991, empowers women to construct and repair homes, fostering community strength and supporting affordable housing. Each year, hundreds of women from diverse backgrounds unite to address housing challenges in Sacramento and Yolo County. The initiative promotes empowerment, solidarity, learning, and community pride.

During our time on-site, our SAR team worked diligently under the guidance of construction professionals, measuring, cutting, and securing side paneling. The inclement weather tested our resolve, but our collective commitment to providing safe, stable housing for families in need kept our spirits high.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed their time and effort. Whether you were swinging a hammer, offering words of encouragement, or standing in solidarity, your presence made an impact. Habitat for Humanity’s mission aligns closely with our values at SAR, and we are proud to support initiatives that promote housing security and community development.

Thank you to all the volunteers who braved the elements and worked together to make a lasting difference. Your dedication embodies the true spirit of giving back, and we look forward to many more opportunities to serve our community alongside such an inspiring group of individuals. Until next time, let’s keep building stronger communities, one home at a time!
