The panelists provided their perspectives on various and current trends and topics. We had over 70 attendees and a great event. They covered a wide variety of topics from the WFH movement affecting commercial/office spaces, finding financing for office buildings, and conversion to multi-family. A hot topic was the minimum wage increase and how that’s affecting business spaces. Not only is it increasing operating expenses related to insurance, but major retail stores (RiteAid specifically) are closing, as well as difficult interest rates and financing.
