SAR’s various committees, clubs, and programs serve our Members and the community by overseeing issues and interests pertinent to our members.
Each program gives back to the community and identifies potential SAR and community partnerships. These partnerships enhance networking opportunities and facilitate key member activities.
Committee terms begin in January and end in December. Applications to join a committee are available beginning in September.
If you wish to join a committee after the deadline you may submit an application and you will be added to a waiting list.
CanTree Committee
Staff Liaison: Brian Delisi, Chief Operation Officer
The CanTree Committee oversees fundraising efforts of the CanTree that supports the Del Oro Division of The Salvation Army. Significant volunteer resources are required September through December.

Community Outreach Committee

The Community Outreach Committee strives to enhance the REALTOR® image through volunteering at various non-profit facilities. The committee shall also work to align SAR’s Community Relations and Government Relations efforts to expand SAR’s reach and to engage more politically and community minded members through volunteer opportunities.

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee’s purpose is to recommend educational and relevant content in all real estate disciplines. The committee will help market courses, seek qualified instructors for SAR staff, and serve on subcommittees when necessary.
The committee will support the SAR Internship Program which is in partnership with the Los Rios Community College District.
