At S.A.R. we know how important it is for you to stay on top of the latest legal requirements and best practices in real estate. That’s why we’re excited to share the latest updates from the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.). Twice a year, C.A.R. rolls out new and revised forms to keep you in the know and compliant. This month, they’ve released 48 new and updated forms, and we want to make sure our S.A.R. members have all the resources they need to succeed. Additionally, the release of 19 forms related to changes in business practices from the NAR settlement has been delayed, but we’ll keep you posted on those too.
New and Revised Forms
In June 2024, C.A.R. introduced 48 new and revised forms. These updates are designed to address the evolving needs of the real estate market and ensure that REALTORS® have the tools they need to navigate complex transactions. These forms cover a range of topics, from disclosure requirements to transactional updates, ensuring that you are well-equipped to handle your clients’ needs.
Delayed Forms
Additionally, the release of 19 other forms has been postponed. These forms pertain to changes in business practices necessitated by the recent NAR settlement. While these forms are not yet available, C.A.R. is actively working to finalize them and will provide updates as soon as they are ready for release.
