Long-time Sacramento REALTOR® Lois "Darelen" Byerley passed away peacefully on December 11th. Darlene joined SAR in May 1977 and enjoyed a lengthy career in real estate, building many friends and colleagues along the way. She was known for being "the hostess with the mostest." Darlene's vivacious spirit always made life fun and lively; however she subtly made a strong effort to do one kind act each day. To no surprise, Darlene modeled her life by her favorite quote: "Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile."
