Do you want to take your real estate business to the next level?
The National Association of REALTOR® has a variety of designation and certification programs available to assist Members in increasing their real estate knowledge, professionalism and expertise. You may acquire REALTORS® designations or certifications online. Whatever method you use, earning a designation is an excellent way to accelerate your career.
Learn to Lead
In six short months, you can be one of our select Members to graduate from SAR’s Leadership Academy.
Participants gain exposure to a wide variety of SAR’s internal committees, forums, and charitable events while learning about the Association’s external partners like C.A.R., MetroList® and city and county government. Once you've completed the Academy, you will be well versed on Association operations and the role leaders play in propelling SAR into the future.
Gain new skills, confidence, friends and contacts while learning the inner workings of SAR and local government. While there is no charge, we do ask your commitment to the activities we have planned from April – December.
- Submit an application describing your interest in the Academy
- Attend monthly group training sessions
- Participate in a special group project
- Attend a variety of meetings and events from April through November
Real Estate Training Institute (RETI)
Each year Sacramento Association of REALTORS'® seasoned professionals offer their time, talent, and knowledge to provide new and returning REALTORS® with many of the basics they need to jump start their businesses. As an SAR Member, we encourage you to participate in this popular training series. You will meet other Members and learn some of the "tricks of the trade" from those who have years of practical experience.

- Great opportunity to network and learn from your peers
- Receive a certificate of completion if you attend at least 7 classes
Broker Training Institute (BTI)
This series provides both REALTORS® and new brokers with the information they need to open a brokerage. Classes include writing a business plan, risk management, insurance concerns, sales and marketing, making your office BRE compliant, and training agents.
